Rush visa service suspended for Americans

May 07, 2009 | Posted by Chris

With the suspension of expedited visa processing, Americans applying for tourist and business visas will have to wait the standard processing time of 6 days. The change in rules comes on the heels of the international swine flu problem, of which the US has the second largest number of cases, and requires American applicants to fill an extra form declaring which countries and US states they've been to in the past two weeks. The US has 380 cases of swine flu while Mexico has 802.
